Overview

A large leading UK insurer required a cloud based system to host around 200 million of their legacy call records, the solution needed to deliver extensive and secure search and retrieval functionality across multiple file types.

In order to meet their requirements, Krome designed a large, cloud based StorARCH solution to host approximately 200 million call records, Krome designed the solution with 800TB’s of Dell EqualLogic PS Series Storage, Force 10 Dell Networking Switches, PowerEdge R8000 Series Servers and Palo Alto Networks Firewalls. The solution is hosted across two geographically diverse data centre locations.

In addition to the physical infrastructure, Krome’s bespoke StorARCH solution enables the call recording data to be comprehensively searched and retrieved, via a secure central access, by call recording site, date or time of call, agent name, policy number, client name or any other data available from the original meta data file.
